Meet Your Teacher

Welcome to Katie Winder Yoga & your online well being journey; Growth & Gratitude!
Here you can practice with me online at home, book classes & find any upcoming events.
Based in Preston, Lancashire, I am passionate about Yoga & the effects they can have on our overall Mental & Physical Health. Having practiced for over 10 years, I finally felt the time was right to share what I have learnt and the many benefits yoga can bring to your life. Alongside over 10 years of personal growth on the mat, I continue to further my studies in various yoga modalities & how they can aid in supporting our sense of well being & health.
I take a particular interest in Trauma & I am currently undertaking further studies in this field towards an Accredited Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher. If this is an interest for you to work on a 1:1 level, you can join my waiting list by contacting me here
The beauty of yoga is every path is different but no matter what shoes you have walked in, yoga is able to teach you about you & how to find balance both on & off the mat. It's a journey which is undoubtedly bespoke to you.
My aim is to build a community through yoga, with events, regular classes & online content that can enrich your life, help you find balance & guide you through a journey to help self regulate your own sense of wellbeing.
I believe that everyone has a different reason for meeting themselves on the mat. Showing up on the mat doesn't mean you have to chant, sing or look a certain way, you don't even need to be able to touch your toes!
Simply roll out your mat as you are, with everything that makes you, you.
I'm an Eco enthusiast & care about the world we live in as well as the people who live in it. Building a community together to help each other thrive & live in more peace comes in hand with my ethical views on working towards living more sustainably.
You can achieve anything with a community behind you & I can't wait for you to join ours!
