Critical thinking and curiosity are the key to creativity so ask away!

What's got you so curious?

We've probably covered most questions about our humble studio, but if not, feel free to contact us.

I'm not flexible, can I do yoga?

Absolutely! It's a common misconception that you have to be flexible to practice yoga. It's true that you can gain more flexibility during practice, but there is so much more to yoga than just flexibility.
All classes offer modifications for where your body is comfortable, why not start with our Beginners class to find your level?

I'm not fit, can I do yoga?

There is no assumed level of fitness in our classes, many students new to yoga are learning to move their body for the first time, why not try our Beginners class to get you started?

Do I need a mat?

All mats & props require for our classes are provided at the studio. You are more than welcome to bring your own mat or props that help support your practice.

What should I Wear?

Most students wear either baggy, loose fitting bottoms & t-shirts or stretchy sports leggings & fitness tops. It's good to aim for clothing that will keep you cool during your practice & have something warmer to layer up for relaxation as the body cools down quickly during this time.

Can I eat before class?

This depends on your personal preferences. A small snack is usually okay an hour before but to avoid being uncomfortable try to stay away from a full meal 2 hours beforehand. It's best to stay hydrated before class.

How do I pay for classes?

All our classes can be booked online here & can be paid for at the time of booking. We do accept payment at the studio by card or cash providing there are spaces available. To avoid disappointment we do recommend booking in advance. You can also purchase a class pass to benefit from savings on regular classes you love & manage your bookings in our App.

Can I book a block of classes?

Some classes available will be a course of classes, in which case you will only need to book the course once, your booking will remain for the duration of the course. Our regular weekly classes can be booked up to a month in advance. You can also purchase a class pass for our weekly classes, to redeem against classes please see our Plans & Pricing to learn more.

Can I drop into classes?

Yes, providing there are spaces available. To avoid disappointment we recommend booking your class in advance where possible, but we understand sometimes it can be a last minute decision.

What if I am late for class?

If you are late for class, we recommend letting us know as soon as you can. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow participants to join the class once the class has begun and the studio doors have been locked. This is to ensure the safety of the space being held for other students is held in place.

Can I leave a class?

You are welcome to leave a class at any time if you need to. We encourage you to listen to what you need and if the class is not serving you for any reason & you feel safe enough to do so you can leave the class. The studio door is locked from the inside at the start of the class but is always accessible to open. We ask that should you need to leave that you are mindful of others students. We may check in with you afterwards to ensure you are okay.

Can I get a refund if I can't make a class?

We can offer a refund if classes are cancelled in good time, If cancellations are made within 24 hours of the class start time, we will only be able to refund you your class if the space has been filled. We are unable to issue a refund if you do not show up or are late to the class. Please refer to our refund policy for more information.

What type of yoga do you teach?

We have many different styles of yoga available from Vinyasa, Yin & Restorative Yoga. Vinyasa yoga simply means to place in a special way & you can expect smooth transitions from one posture to the next using the breath to move the body. Used in different ways, Vinyasa Yoga can create a sense of calm in the mind or energise us for the day ahead. Using the breath in unison with movement allows us to release tension or blockages within our bodies & encourage balance in our nervous system.

Yin Yoga is a calming practice aimed at working into the deep tissues of the body using longer-held postures. The practice is nourishing for the nervous system & allows us to find a state of peace.

You can find more about our class styles & suitability on our classes page.
